From these numbers we can see that:

  • 35% of online sales are direct clicks (mostly repeat business)
  • 28% of online sales are new business generated from Google NZ
  • Search engine traffic accounts for 61% of online sales
  • The online yellow pages advert is probably paying for itself (but with some testing we might be able to increase $136 to $500 per month)

Note that these are real numbers for a real web site (with a few details changed). Their search engine success increased dramatically recently, so you would expect the revenue for "Bookmark or direct" to be much higher after a few more months or years.
