What To Wear
Wear the wrong clothes and they will steal ALL the focus away from the message you’re trying to get across. Here are my tips on what to wear:
- No stripes, checks or small patterns. They end up looking all psychedelic and your viewers hardly notice there’s even a person in there.
- No black shirts – your torso becomes a dark blob with no detail. Just a funny wee head-on-a-blob.
- No white shirts. A white shirt tends to blend into the background.
- Bright colours are not ideal either – they either create too much glare or are very distracting.
- Something moderately colourful or medium grey with no small patterns is ideal.
- If wearing a hat, think about how formal you want to look.
- Never wear sunglasses! Even if you’re outside. It’s crucial that your viewers can see your eyes.
