Sell More by Selling Later

Does your web site try to sell your product or service to first time visitors?
Most web sites that do this fail to make the sale and you never see the visitor again.

If you focus your efforts on convincing your visitors to join your mailing list, it's much easier to convert them. Then you can promote to them regularly with your newsletter.

On average it takes 7 communications with a prospect before they buy from you. So a newsletter is a great tool to turn prospects into customers.

Contact Us to discuss how an online newsletter could turn your lost visitors into sales.
Sales Tip of the Month...
Red Hot Business CoachingThis month's tip - End game plan - whether it is your entire business or just your marketing, put together a strategy that fits in with your long term goals as well as short term returns. As Steven Covey would say - "Keep the end in mind"

Steve Hockley is a Red Hot business coach who helps businesses realise their owner's dreams. Steve is a successful business person in his own right so knows what it really means to run a business, rather than just reading about it. You can contact Steve on 04 894 7111

Simplifying the Internet...
What is SMTP and POP3?
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is an Internet tool used to send your email.  If you use email, then you use SMTP.

POP3 or POP (Post Office Protocol) is used to receive email from people who send you email. Most people who have personal email addresses with an Internet Service Provider such as Xtra or Paradise will use POP. When you send an email, POP transfers your message to a place where SMTP can access it and send it on to the recipient.

If you find that you can not send emails or you aren't receiving emails, check your SMTP and POP settings (usually found in your tools menu under Accounts) and make sure that they are correct.
